Not My Circus created a truly unique show for the historic Soho venue Kettners. It combined the theatrical styles of music hall, cabaret, burlesque, circus and variety with a hilarious, relaxed lecture on the history of London's original pleasure district.

Beginning in Tudor times, when 'Soho' was the call used by Henry VIII and his courtiers as they rode across the then open fields of the royal hunting grounds, continuing onto the beginnings of vibrant street theatre of 1700s Covent Garden, moving through the famous Victorian Music halls, the showgirls of the revue shows at The Windmill, Carnaby Street's rock and roll revolution in the 50s and 60s, the thriving LGBT scene of the 70s and 80s, the musical theatre history of the West End and finishing in contemporary Soho, the last remaining bastion of the alternative, creative capital.
